Bypass the Proxy settings

Some Apple's services does not work via proxy.
You can bypass the proxy for such services.
Please refaer the "Proxy settings" below.

KidsServer Proxy settings

If you need the Proxy settings by manual, set it up by steps following.

Open Network in System Preferences. (in apple menu)

Show the current Network device and choose the "Proxies" tab.

Check the "Web Proxy (HTTP)" and type "127.0.0.1" in Web proxy server box and "8080" in next box.
(Please refer the red marked in figure)






Add URLs below to "Bypass proxy settings for these Hosts & Domains" (Please refer the orange marked in figure)

apple.com
mac.com
idisk.mac.com
a1.phobos.apple.com
metrics.apple.com
ax.phobos.apple.com.edgesuite.net
a1.phobos.apple.com
ritzpix.com
js03/Assets/Video/
stteresa-ecs.com
*.local.
169.254.*

They are the magic to use Apple's web services.

Using pac file for Proxy settings

How to use pac file:

Open Network in System Preferences. (in apple menu)

Show the current Network device and choose the "Proxies" tab.

Choose "Use a PAC file" in Configure Proxies pop up menu.

Type "127.0.0.1:8080/kfs.pac"

Note: If you using Safari, please make sure your version ofOSX and Safari version.
If you using 10.4 and latest Safari, you can use pac file.
However, if you using old version of Safari or OSX 10.3x, never use pac file. It will freeze your system. (OSX bug)
